WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!

Let’s talk about it, cry about it, laugh about it, make art about it… but most of all… dress up for it!
Death – Our collective yet predominantly ignored destiny will be faced and embraced using a multi-media theatrical fashion parade. Fashion for Funerals – Putting the FUN into Funerals is a story telling platform for writers, film and theatre makers, fashion designers, artists, musicians, psychologists and scientists.
Bringing death to life by creating a cultural shift in the way we grieve that makes our inevitable end accessible and acceptable.
Death is the Story
Life is the Motive
Memento Mori
Embody each Moment
With an inclination for collaboration, Pengelly has assembled a crew of master creators to present her current collection, Fashion for Funerals – Putting the FUN into Funerals.
Inspirations include Blood Cells, Black Diamonds and the Danse Macabre.
The show was born of her mother’s death.
10% of show profits are being donated to the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute.
